Our Midnight Dress is a fitted ankle length dress with a peachy TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric that feels like a hug to wear. The bust of the dress is double lined, making it comfortable to wear without a bra; the straps are also perfect to cover bra straps if preferred.
The Lyocell is a regenerated fiber made from certified biobased wood pulp, commonly sourced from eucalyptus or pine trees. The production process involves a closed-loop system, meaning that water and solvents are recycled for minimal environmental impact. This fiber has received certifications from organizations such as ASTM and ISO for its compostable and biodegradable properties. Lyocell can be successfully blended with other materials, including cotton, recycled polyester, or elastane, to achieve specific texture or durability goals. It is known for its strength, breathability, and soft texture.
TENCEL™ is a specific kind of Lyocell that is trademarked by Lenzing and often undergoes additional finishing processes for enhanced softness.
